UFC Betting Options

The main bet on every UFC match is always going to be the straight up money line wager that simply involves betting on which fighter will win the bout.  The odds associated with each fighter determines the payouts.  Needless to say a bet on the underdog will pay out more than a bet on the favorite.  Here is an example:

Phil Davis +160
Rashad Evans -185

In this example a Evans is a slight favorite.  A $100 bet on Davis wins $160 ($260 payout), while a $185 bet on Evans wins $100 ($285 payout).

There are also a ton of prop bets that can be made on the higher profile fights.  Some examples of these bets include if the fight goes the distances, if a fighter wins a certain round, if a fighter wins by TKO or decision and many more.  Here are some more examples from the fight we looked at above:

Davis/Evans goes 5 round distance +140
Does not go 5 round distance -160

Evans wins by TKO +220
Any other result -300

Fight is over in first round +255
Fight goes into second round -365

You can basically bet on anything that could happen in the fight.
